Love flows like water to soothe us and enriches our efforts
Love also falls like fire to ablaze the heart and mood
It blows like the air with a force that pushes and pulls us together
It sprouts in our dreams and heart like a flower from the earth to bloom into something beautiful
Whether they dreams, Whether they were parallel universes, Love followed and pointed its staff to me
A pleasant feeling was sown in my dreams, it sprouts timely and grew into realism
I woke up wearily, sword on my shoulders, to take a stroll to guard a benevolent town
Down on the streets, I went as a knight walking in starry night, deep in thought of tales of love and conquer
Till I bumped into you, a beautiful maiden, with natural glow and flow of compassion
Your eyes were enchanting and with sweet kind words you pleaded and picked up my fallen sword
I wasn't daunting and my words were few as I watched you glide away with a lasting fragrance

We met regularly on the same path and Love slowly sprout and sprang from within us
It blossomed through our smiles and little conversations without fears
It grew, bestowed and endowed through our weathers of laughs and tears
We laughed at angry bunnies with funny choices,
We buried in silence the lost birds of melodious voices
Till love emerged firmly in our hugs and holding of hands when we meet at cross paths
Love even did more to be seen when we look into each other's eyes and whisper its name to our ears
After each war, you treated me keenly and kingly so dearly
You are a bloom of love like no other, kindling whenever and gifted with healing
I found rest on your laps, you found rest on my shoulders
Love surrounded us, blooming you and grooming me.
And may it continue to guide our sweet journey into a story of beautiful lore to adore

Commentary
This longest love poem in the book is a small romance told like a fairy tale. A knight-like speaker patrols a sleeping town, drops a sword, meets a maiden who picks it up, and lets love grow slowly from small talk to shared rest.
Love is first described in four forces: it “flows like water,” “falls like fire,” “blows like the air” and “sprouts in our dreams” like a flower. Whether in dreams or “parallel universes,” “Love followed and pointed its staff to me,” and the feeling “sprouts timely and grew into realism.”
The speaker wakes “wearily, sword on my shoulders,” to guard “a benevolent town,” walking as “a knight” “in starry night, deep in thought.” Then “I bumped into you, a beautiful maiden,” whose kind words and act of picking up “my fallen sword” begin the story, and the speaker watches her “glide away with a lasting fragrance.”
They “met regularly on the same path,” and love “blossomed through our smiles and little conversations.” They laugh “at angry bunnies with funny choices,” bury in silence “the lost birds of melodious voices,” and find love “in our hugs and holding of hands.” The poem ends with rest, “I found rest on your laps, you found rest on my shoulders,” and a wish that love “continue to guide our sweet journey into a story of beautiful lore to adore.”
