Love falls at the strangest of ways in all weather, but for winter, it comes like a fairytale.
Love lives within and surrounds us which moves our heart and hands to protect, persevere and prevail.
It was one snowfall, whilst whistling and cutting wood for fire in a coppice, I heard your first sweetest voice.
Following with choice, my eyes beheld you, a fine damsel wearing the whitest of dresses and in distress.
You were singing a song so dear and comforting to hear, a song that can uplift the lost at the worst.
Captivated by your beauty, everything felt slow motion and your eyes just sparkled like a star.
I wondered what troubled you fine damsel and why strayed to the forest thus far.

You told me that you came for the prettiest flowers which you held lower in your hands.
Kissing you by the hand with admiration, I asked to escort you and you nodded with a glowing smile.
I promised to take you home and protect you against the wild wolves in these woods.
And to carry you in my arms from any tired and cold feet on walking on fallen snow.
Was it love at first sight?, for my heart was beating so good when we held hands together like we were destined to be.
Evening gently shadowed as we drew home nearer and our chats came to a happy ending.
Thanking me with a soft hug, it felt so pure that to let you go was like taking a breath away.
As I watched you go and reflecting that day, it felt love had fallen on me with a damsel in a snowfall.
